Professor Patrick Mercier has been awarded the 2020 San Diego County Engineering Council's Outstanding Engineering Award. Awarded to one engineer in the San Diego County area annually for recognition of significant engineering advancements and demonstrated leadership in professional societies, Prof. Mercier has been recognized for his technical contributions to ultra-low-power integrated circuit technologies and for his leadership as co-director of the UC San Diego Center for Wearable Sensors.  The award will be presented at the annual Engineers Week San Diego (EWSD) Awards Banquet on February 21.
