ECE Transfer Equivalencies

  • Students should submit a petition to the ECE Department prior to taking a course in another university.
  • Keep in mind that courses must be at least 4 units, taken for a letter grade and passed with a C- or better.
  • To receive credit for a C Programming or circuits course completed prior to transferring to UC San Diego, transfer students must take and pass the ECE-015 or ECE-035 Waiver Exam. C Programming or circuits courses taken outside of UC San Diego are not eligible for course equivalencies.
  • Course equivalences are deleted 3 years after the quarter/semester posted on this list.
