Job Description:

Integrated Device Technology (IDT) is avidly seeking Software Engineer/Programmer or Electrical Engineer for an immediate opening. U.S. Citizenship is required due to U.S. Government Contract work involved. This is an exciting opportunity to assist in the further development of 5th generation (5G) wireless communication systems. Embedded firmware and GUI development experience strongly preferred.

Job Duration: 4 weeks

Duties:  Firmware and GUI programming using primarily Python for development with application to embedded controls for SPI/I2C based microcontrollers and measurement instrumentation.Programming for microprocessors (FTDI and Arduino).

Qualifications:

US Citizenship

Experience with:

• Microprocessor-controlled instrumentation
• Python for embedded software
• Language: Python 2 and Python 3
• Windows Desktop Development Tool: LabWindows
• Lab instruments (e.g. Network analyzer, oscilloscope, multimeters)
• Protocols: SPI and GPIB
