POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering within the Jacobs School of Engineering at UC San Diego is currently accepting applications for temporary non-tenure track lecturers (Unit 18) . Lecturers will teach courses at the undergraduate or graduate level in the areas of electrical and computer engineering.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic qualifications (Required at Time of Application)
Master's degree in electrical and computer engineering, computer science, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years industry experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Additional qualifications (Required at Time of Start)
Minimum of one quarter or semester teaching one or more courses, either as Instructor of Record or as a Teaching Assistant or equivalent industry experience such as a minimum presenting one or more seminars, or conducting one or more trainings

Preferred qualifications:

Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related area. 1+ years teaching in University environment
