Nanofabrication Engineer - quinc.tech

1012258

The engineer works as a part of a team to design, develop fabrication processes, and fabricate high
temperature superconducting and MEMS devices with applications in metrology, healthcare, and
wireless communications. Fabrication processes will be developed by researching properties of the
materials and designing and executing experiments. When possible, models of the materials should be
developed to predict material behavior. The engineer will fabricate the devices using state of the art
micro and nanolithography techniques. The final objective is to develop repeatable processes that yield
novel electronic devices.

The engineer will read scientific literature and take online courses to become knowledgeable in the
fields of Materials Chemistry and Condensed Matter Physics as they apply to these devices.

Work will be done via telework and at nanofabrication facilities.
